• How do I choose the right size mattress?

A mattress of the proper size gives you the space to stretch out and ideally, meets your potential needs for years to come. For example, a single bed is a great option for young children. But kids quickly outgrow small mattresses, so it might be wise to pick a larger mattress from the start. 

A general rule of thumb: Firstly, buy the largest mattress your room can comfortably accommodate. And then make sure its length is about 20 centimetres taller than your height, or that of the tallest person sleeping in the bed.

• What type of mattress type is perfect for me?

The question is, which ‘feel’ sounds most like you – super firm, firm, gently firm, medium or soft?

• Soft: You like sleeping on your side and need a mattress that offers support and contours your body's curves.

• Medium: If you sleep in all sorts of different positions, a medium mattress is the way to go. It'll provide support for your spine while keeping you comfortable all night. 

• Gently firm: Somewhere in the middle, gently firm mattresses are great for anyone who's a little indecisive, but likes the sound of great support with a little extra padding. If you like sleeping on a harder surface with some added comfort then this is for you!
